This targeted source update covers retatrutide/TRIUMPH-2, selected drug authorisation and development statuses, EVOKE, perioperative advice and selected MHRA communications. It is not a complete clinical re-review of every paragraph, dose, diagram or international guideline. A source-check date does not represent a new clinical review by the named author.
Trial estimates must identify the population, comparator, follow-up and analysis estimand. Sponsor announcements are labelled separately from peer-reviewed reports; neither establishes marketing authorisation. Educational illustrations are not an original trial figure or a validated prescribing algorithm; confirm numerical and clinical claims in the linked primary source.
Evidence sources
We prioritise, in order:
- Peer-reviewed primary trials and systematic reviews
- Regulatory sources: MHRA, EMA, FDA and the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC)
- National guidance such as NICE and specialist society consensus statements
Marketing materials and press releases are not treated as evidence.
Review and authorship
Content is drafted and checked by Dr Kazmi, FRCP, author and clinical reviewer. Pages carry a "last reviewed" date. We review high-change topics — such as regulatory alerts — more frequently.

GLP-1 Atlas accepts no pharmaceutical sponsorship of clinical content. Any advertising is separated from editorial material and clearly labelled. Contributors declare relevant interests.
Accuracy and corrections
